Football: Ursuline

The WGH football team overcame an early deficit and rallied to defeat the Ursuline Irish 28-24 at Mollenkopf Stadium. The Raiders scored with 45 seconds left in the game to seal the victory. The Raiders host Akron SVSM next Friday.

Soccer: Champion

The boys soccer team evened their record to 5-5 on the year with a 4-0 win over Champion. David Devlin score two goals. Aidan Rohrer and Jacob Tatebe  each added a goal. The Raiders host Ursuline on 9-29-20.

Volleyball @ Howland

The Lady Raider volleyball team fell to Howland 0-3 (13-25, 12-25 and 5-25). The Raiders travel to Boardman on 9-29-20.

Boys soccer: Austintown Fitch

The boys soccer team lost a hard-fought soccer match to Fitch by the score of 2-1. The Raider goal was scored by Jacob Tatebe (13th of the season). George Berzonski provided stellar goalie play recording 21 saves. The Raiders host Champion on Thursday.

WGH Football Radio Channel Change

Beginning this Friday, September 25th, the WGH football games will be broadcast on AM 1220 and 96.9 FM. The games will also be streamed live on each stations website.

Softball Field

The morning sun is shining brightly on our new WGH softball field! The new scoreboard is up and the final process of putting the dugout roofs on will occur in early October.

Football @ Fitch

The football team lost a heartbreaker to the Fitch Falcons 25-21 @ Austintown. The game featured numerous lead changes and big plays throughout. Taylor completed a 38 yard TD pass to Dorsey and Patierno had a tough 10 yard Td run to lead the Raiders offense. The Raiders host Ursuline on 9/25/20.

Boys Golf AAC Tournamnet at Y-Town CC

The boys golf team participated in the AAC golf tournament held at the beautiful Youngstown Country Club. The scores for 18 holes were: Anthony Payiavlas:¬† 79 (3rd place overall) Clark Kellar: 93 Braylen Schuller: 106 Taryn Baughman: 131
