Boys Basketball: Howland

The boys raised their record to 12-6 on the year with a 71-43 win over the Howland Tigers. The Raiders host Boardman on Friday in the inaugural WWR throwback basketballĀ  game. Fans are urged to wear the black and gold to the game.

Girls Basketball: #1 Seed in Ravenna Sectional/ District

Congratulations to Coach Caputo, staff and players for being voted the number one seed in the upcoming sectional/district. The Raiders will play a sectional final on 2/20/20 here at WGH vs. the winner of the Hudson- Austintown Fitch game.

Girls Bowling @ Canfield

The girls bowling team (8-5) defeated the Canfield Cardinals by the score of 2037-1551 . Marissa Stear’s 227 was the game one high score and MyKayla Dorsey’s 193 led the way in game two. The Lady Raiders host Fitch on Monday.   For all results: Jan. 29, 2020 girls Canfield Varsity

Boys Bowling @ Canfield

The WGH boys bowling team improved to 8-5 on the season with a 2516-2331 win over the Canfield Cardinals. Everett Burd had a game one high score of 193 and Braylen Schuller’s 227 was the top score in game two. The Raiders host Fitch next Monday.   For all scores:   2020-01-29 WGH vars boys

Community Swim

The WGH community swim program will begin this Sunday (2/2/20) and will be open on Sundays through May 3, 2020. ( Note: No swimming on Sunday April 12th. Lessons and adults swims are from 2:00 – 2:30 PM, followed by open swimming from 2:30 PM- 5:00 PM. Prices: Students $3, Adults $5 and Families $7

Indoor Track

The 2020 Indoor track team is off and running in a BIG way. Halfway through the Indoor Season our WGH Boys team is ranked 3rd in the Division 1 State rankings behind Orange High School and Pickerington North High School. AAC Bowling Tournament Results

Warren Harding’s boys finished second and the girls finished fourth in the 2020 AAC Bowling Tournament held at Freeway Lanes on Sunday. Boys Bowling: Howland

Coach Burd’s Raiders defeated the Howlnad Tigers 2454-2249 at Freeway Lanes. The Raiders (7-5) were led in game one by Mason McVicker (234) and Braylen Schuller (214). In game two Everett BurdĀ  had a game high of 257 and Braylen Schuller rolled a 202. The Raiders roll back into action on Wednesday at Canfield.

Girls Bowling: Howland

The girls bowling team improved their record to 7-5 on the season with a 2026-1938 win over Howland. Paityn Stienstra led the Raiders in both singles matches with a 191 and a 179 for a 370 series. The team travels to Canfield on Wednesday.
